THIRD PHASE: Join in FAW

On sept, 21 1979, Changchun Automotive Research Institute joined in First Automotive works (FAW), merged with FAW product design deptment. After joining into FAW, the personnel ability, equipment and resources nearly increased by one time, speeding up the conversion of the scientific research achievement to the current productive forces, and providing more technical reserves for the product development. The scientific research programs come from the production practice. Solving problems existing in products, scientific research can penetrate into a more prafound level.
