Complete Vehicle Products

The development history of heavy-, mid- and light-duty vehicle, passenger car products of FAW Group Corporation is the development and struggling history of product development of the R&D Center. From 50s to 80s, four technical reformations were involved with the old 4 ton Jiefang truck in FAW product development work. From 90s, FAW product family has formed a 5-9 ton cab-after-engine truck product series and a 4-16ton cab-over-engine truck product series based on the medium duty trucks of 5 ton cab-after-engine truck series and 6 ton cab-over-engine truck series. On passenger car and light-duty vehicle product development, we combined foreign advanced technology, and developed Hongqi car product series and 1 ton and 2ton light-duty truck and van product series, creating a space for further enterprise development.
