Development of Tyre High-Speed Mechanical
Characteristic Test Bench
Tyre
high-speed mechanical characteristic test bench was developed
by the R&D Center. This test bench is used to measure
tyre lateral force and return movement under different speed,
different load, different side-slip angle and camber, thus
can provide advanced measurement means of tyre mechanical
characteristic for complete vehicle mechanical simulation
computing and complete vehicle design with advanced domestic
level.
Research of Engine Mounting Characteristic Match Technology
Design of engine assembly
mounting directly affects design level of complete vehicle
performance. As a result of that development of mounting
and engine assembly matching technology is of vital importance.
Integrating system simulation technique and test technique
into one, this technique is capable of forecasting engine
assembly mounting system performance on systematical level.
System modal frequency and system modal vibration mode
analysis, optimal analysis of mounting position and rigidity
parameters, as well as loading analgsis in each gear shifting
operating mode can be carried out.
Performance Simulation Computing Program
of Complete Vehicle
"The performance
simulation computing program of complete vehicle"
is a group of complete computing program self developed
by complete vehicle research department for forecasting
power ability, economy, stability, harshness and braking
performance of complete vehicle. Based on different performance
characristics of the complete vehicle or using a big mature
software or solving and coding of mastered theory knowledge
and test data, the program makes an active effort on the
theory research and the test result practice.
Diesel Engine Electronic Controled
Governor
Diesel
engine electronic controled governor is a scientific research
achievement of "Diesel Engine Electronic Controled
System Development" which is a key research topic
of State Scientific & Technological Commission in
the "9th Five-Year-Plan". Its main feature is
to replace traditional mechanical governor with electrical
actuator, different temperature sensors, displacement
sensors, revolution sensors, electrical control unit (ECU)
as well diesel engine control software, thus considerably
improving regulate & control quality of fuel injection
pump. It has the following advantages as flexible emission
control, free setting of governing characteristic in stable
and transitional state as well as constant engine revolution
control.
Project Management
Project
Management Program developed by the R&D Center uses
network data base as storage center of all information
relevant to tasks, all departments work altogether to
serve this data base. All relevant information in the
process of task planning and implementation will be submitted
to relevant departments timly and conveniently, thus all
departments can be done their jobs in a coordinated fashion
and improve theit work efficiency.
Development of Engine Gas Port
R&D Center currently uses 3-D technology to develop
engine port, while at the same time it makes full use
of advanced processing method, e.g. laser moulding, numerical-control
machining to make port sample and blowing box. All mechanical
movement of constant air flow port test bench has been
automized, and test equipment has been modularized. All
data measured in tests will be collected by sensors and
processed by computers, thus greatly improve work efficiency,
accuracy and comparability of test data are thus improved.
Applying CFD technology can help to keep abreast of distribution
of flow field in the port, and is helpful to upgrading
port design development level.
Speedometer Signal Fitting Device
Speedometer
signal processor uses monolithic processor to process
vehicle speed signal collected from gear box by means
of frequency division, its frequency division multiple:
P=1+0.02N (N=0~255). As a result, when freqncy division
multiple of signal processor is between 1.5~6.6, it is
set freely by microswitch which changes frequency division
multiple of the signal processor, as a result, it can
adapt to variation of different rear axle transmission
ratio and different tyre rolling radius, thus reducing
varieties of gear box. At the same time cutting costs
(lower cost approx.RMB9 yuan per vehicle), this also offers
convenience both in production and maintenance.
ABS+EDS
ABS(anti-blocking
system), EBU(electronic braking force distribution unit)
and EDS (electronic differential lock) are installed on
Hongqi Car which integrates the three active safety systems
into one, this layout reduces vehicle weight and improves
reliability of the system. In the process of braking,
ABS system adjusts brake oil pressure automatically to
prevent wheel blocking, thus obtaining optimized braking
effect.
Application of CFD in Engine Developing
By using CFD to analyze pressure difference at inlet and
outlet of engine cooling water jacket and flow rate, flow
amount and heat transfer coefficient in different positions,
the technicians can compare different design schemes in
the design phase and carry out optimation design; Using
CFD to analyze pressure distribution in the flow field
of air passage, speed distribution , flow coefficient
and vortex ratio in flow field in engine gas port can
provide guidance and help in engine gas port design and
development.
CAE Technology in CA6106 Diesel Engine Developing
Through
this research, technicians of the R&D Center get CAE
integral analysis technology of cylinder block, cylinder
gasket, cylinder head which is applied in projects conforming
to Euro II emission standard of CA6110 diesel engine.
